Our FACT Center

The FACT Centre is a center within the center; it is a world class training center on Mechatronics in Process and Factory Automation.
With the establishment of the Festo Authorized and Certified Training Centre (FACT), which is in partnership with Festo, a renowned German industrial automation company. The center is aimed at providing expertise and technical know-how (for employability and productivity) to students/staff and the industry under the Festo FACT brand. It is to develop capacities and capabilities to move the manufacturing platform of Nigeria from conventional to advanced technology. To achieve this, the center has carefully developed step-by-step training modules to ensure up-to-date know-how delivery to support trainees (beginners); the module is to create options and opportunities to all stakeholders.

Also, members of staff of AMT-P with engineering biases are not left out as there are short and long term certificate training programmes for them. This is to equip them with competency to be globally competitive in the ever dynamic technological world. Indeed, AMT-P, Jalingo is a veritable platform for skill development for entrepreneurship among youths, intervention in food production, intervention in science and technology education, stimulation of the activities of the SMEs and fast tracking of industrialization not only in the North-Eastern region, but in Nigeria in general
